Qigong
Medical Qigong is part of the traditional Chinese medicine.
The four main branches are medical qigong, acupuncture, herbal medicine and tuina - Chinese massage. Qi can be translated as vitality or energy. Gong is translated as method, technique or performance. The soft, calm exercises of the Qigong help us get into the power of the original life force, thus optimally utilising the body's self-healing properties. Qigong stimulates and strengthens joints, muscles, tendons, nerve pathways and circulation in a natural and beneficial way. Qigong is used successfully to prevent and stagnate various diseases, both physically and mentally. Doctors, associations and institutions recommend qigong for their clients. The Biyun method's Qigong is also integrated into schools and kindergartens in Sweden. All course participants are given a CD with detailed description and guidance of the exercises. After completing the course, the participants will be able to perform Qigong on their own. For more information, see www.biyun.no.
