Adapted for children

The Biyun method Qigong training which is adapted to children. The exercises are based on the children "playing" that they are different animals; bird, bear, tiger, monkey and deer. Each animal corresponds to the 5 elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine; fire, water, metal, wood and earth. This is a many thousand-year-old tradition in China. Animal exercises are fun and at the same time fantastic motor training for kids. The exercises stimulate balance, coordination, crossing the body's midline, diagonal movements, eye movement concentration and body awareness. The children also learn "power exercises" that originated in the Shaolin Temple - China's premier center for martial arts training. These teach the children to gather calm and control, and help them increase concentration.
